We finally got our first win and ran our personal best of 7.39@183 More importanlty the car was very consistent posting a 7.41@182, 7.45@182, 7.41@182 and a 7.39@183

Dee what motor you using? the one that comes with the new Mazdaspeed 3/6
thinking about getting a 3 as a daily driver soon.....

 

Actually mine has a a little of both. We use the N/A head from the mazda 3 and the block from the turbo mazdaspeed 3.

 

Look at the port angles on this head.
Dee you need this head!

That **** reminds me of my friends next door to my shop that have a couple of those left over IMSA Toyota '503' motors from the 90's. They were based on the 3SGTE motor. Same port angles and factory dry-sump built into the front cover of the motor.

 

I would love to use that head but it is not a production head .....Well not yet. We will be testing with the turbo head on the off season it looks like it might have some potential and the casting is supposedly stronger.

 

yes dee, i'll be there.. hopefully with my Rx3 trying this nitrous car all over..
