UK street legal FD runs 8.82 @ 160mph
James Willday just ran an 8.82@160mph in his FD at Santa Pods Easter Thunderball event. He drives the car to the event and back home again......
Massive congrats to James, Kerim and Jaydee. Almost the IRS rotary world record.

Rob Blackshaw ran a 9.13@152mph also street driven, at the same event.
Going to be a good year for the rotaries here in the UK i think.
Not the greatest quality vid - vid is of the 9.15 sec run.

Yes, you could have a race car with lights, wipers and indicators and it could be road legal.

Yes...of course......after all its only additional protection.
Also this car is a regular bridge potrted motor ! No pp here!
Also his 60 ft was 1.45....so still room for improvement.
And let's not forget its only running 1.8 bar......imagine what it wold do if he nailed the 60ft and they upped the boost......trust me that IRS record would be history now........And its a H pattern.......LOL ....imagine if it was clutchless
