Wont work unless you buy a conversion kit for the throw out bearing. FD is push/pull type (or other way around). Youtube how an FD clutch works

You do know the transmissions are identical with the exception of how the throwout bearing works right??? Well the TII trans is somewhat stronger, but with a TII clutch and flywheel everything bolts up and works fine.

T2 tranny fits on fd engine, You will need to grind the rear iron a bit if using a stock t2 flywheel.

^I found that out at the last minute. You have to do a small cut on the rear edge of the plate on the exhaust side or the flywheel will catch the lip.

TII clutch bolts right to the FD flywheel using a TII slave, TII throw out bearing. pilot bearing is the same spline pattern as well.
