Yea i had fun this weekend. Really bummed about Ernie breaking and not making a good clean pass. Nice meeting everyone over the weekend. I had the Red FD(Matt) and my best pass was a 10.63 earlier today. Went 10.86 my first pass saturday and i went 10.86 a week before and didnt think it had any more untill i went 10.70's and on my last 10.79 saturday night i blew a coupler at like the 1000' mark when i shifted to 4th. Best mph was 128 and best 60' was a 1.51 but ran alot of 1.5's and like 2 1.6's with no two step. Just glad it held together so i could drive it home.

Just got home. It was nice seeing everyone again, congrats Matt on some great passes.

On the way home Crispeed calls me and tells me that their 240sx went 8.8's!!!!!! Fpr those who have not seen it, it has a full interior with AC and is a daily driver in Florida. It belongs to Big Daddys son. He is planning on putting a cage etc but decided to run it all out and the damn car went 8.8's!

Allen and Roan both took a lot of pics for NYCE1's so we have to wait for Julian to post them.

1. It'd rather see a friend safe than going down a track with a fucked up axle that's missing splines. He told us both the axle is missing splines.

2. The replacement rear was a stock rear, it would have broken and now you have to buy a kaaz AND another stock rear, so now 2 broken rears. Keep in mind you're rushing to come right back to MIR for a Turbo inspection and you're 2+ hours away.

3. They announced 4 times for everyone in True Street to open their hoods for turbo inspection. A competitor complained so that means he would have not been able to run.

Why take the chance when there is an event in one week at Etown where we will all be again?

Ito, you need a sedative. Roan, Anthony and I are very good friends. We crack on each other all day long. They call me the redneck white boy. I laugh. Its all in good fun. Now if we wern't close or knew each other, you'd have a point. Forget about it.

Ito, i didn't see your post before the redneck deleted it, but I'm sure you're just looking to prevent any unneeded fighting and stupidity like we have in here from time to time. while this is a car forum, we are kind of like a big family. many of us have known each other on and off these boards for years, and ocassionally the talk will veer away from cars into other areas. I think we do need to be mindful of the things we say to ppl on here in general because we want to avoid hard feelings and redneck beatdowns, but in the particular case of ernie and his sharpe comment, its all good. his mom likes the way the wrincles feel when she runs her fingers over them. Thanks Ito, it's seriously nice to know you got my back.

Update on my situation: Thought it was my diff. It wasn't so the unbreakable is still unbreakable
The splines on the level 5 driveshaft shop axles were rounded. After talking to Lee @ DSS, he informed me my set was the first they ever made and since then have redesigned the whole setup. He is sending me the new set totally free. I can't say enough about the guys over at DSS. Never seen anyone stand by their product like that. My new setup will be ready for Sunday at E-town. Look foward to seeing everyone!

I thought so too. Anthony would be able to tell ya better than me cause he put his on. I know it comes with longer wheel studs and its a 33spline.

the "ernie T" axles come with larger splines on the outers that require changing the outer hub on the FD to what i believe is a porche unit.
