Just got back from Irwindale. I Almost made a 7 second pass. My best time was an 8.075 @ 85.35mph. I still need to work on my launching and the 7 second pass will come. The new carb setup helped out alot. I went from 8.2 to 8.0 and from 83mph to 85mph. Here's the timeslip. I got vids too and I will post tomorrow after I edit- too damned tired right now.

If your going to put $$ into a trans, save up for a clutchless. Your car will run well into the 7's for sure.

Ok, Ok, here's the vid, but first let me tell you before you say it. Yes my burnouts sucked because I don't have my line lock installed yet and they get pissed for burning out pass the tree and yes I am granny shifting like a **** I know.
The first pass was my 8.07- my dad did not get the board at the end because he was getting used to my camera. The second run was my highest mph at 85.6mph but I spun a little in first and second- hard to tell in the vid. The third run I played with the tune a little and went slower and then I ran out of time. The green rx3 is a member here- pportrx3 and he is running a 13bpport and ran really good. Steve, I hope your cool with me putting your run in my vid. Any comments welcomed. Enjoy.

Jay, one thing you need really BAD!!! it will improve your E.T. in great numbers. You need to put that MSD 6AL on the trailing plugs and put the rev limiter chip to about 10,200 rpms and launch on the limiter!!!! make adjustments to the limiter according to your 60ft mark this will be trial and error, if you improve a tenth in your 60 ft mark. you usually pick up 2 tenth's in your E.T.

over all you get a B- grandma shifting not exceptable... sweet runs ... like allen said engine was pulling good in between shifts...

Ito, I wish I got a vid of his first pass. I was coming back from my run and looked over and watched him launch. He got the front end up at least 45degrees or more, came down and shifted and went right back up in second gear almost just as high. It was bad ***. Betweem him and I, we pissed off alot of v8 guys.
