Turbo r1

REFFERING TO YOUR 700 hp STOCK MOTOR, THIS MUST BE AN ENGINE BUILT BY JESUS OR ONE WHO CLOSE TO. IF SO, I WILL BE IN CHURCH ON SUNDAY, ON MY KNEES, BEGGING FOR YHAT RESULTS WHEN I GO BACK TO STOCK. JUST LIKE YOU GUYS, RUNNING STOCK BLOCK AND PUSHING MORE hp THAN BEFORE WITH A PORTECD MOTOR. CONGRATULATIONS ON A JOB WELL DONE. AMEN

Wow I'll tell the results I'm seeing with E85 and rotary's is truley amazing lately. IronMdnx made over 800rwhp on E85 with his 20b b4 it got wrecked. If this engine keeps going, you can almost make the case that it's pointless to ever upgrade the internal apex seals. When you say stock, do you mean this engine still is the factory original engine with 3 piece apex seals? If so then I'm sold on E85. It would appear that this fuel is really lowering the knock levels with-in the combustion chamber.

naldo 11-02-09 12:33 PM

That`s awesome running 9 sec on a stock engine, But was the engine rebuilted before running on 29~28 psi???if it so what kind of apex are you using, and is the engine dowelld??

I know I`m asking too much:scratch::scratch:

Any updates? Hey Enzo, do you guys sell that intake manifold set-up?

enzo250 02-13-10 06:53 AM

yes.. Soon the whole combination will be available as i'm making every piece bolt on..

Rx-7's should be able to go 9's with bolts on as many other cars can.. :)

C. Ludwig 02-13-10 09:20 AM

You've figured out how to package a bolt-on tuner and driver? If so I'll take one of each please! :D

LOL, but 9's on a factory stock block.... with 70k... what other cars can do that??

As for the manifold, have you figured out pricing yet? When are you shooting for it to be available?

When that thing finally goes you should take tons of pictures(maybe make a video) documenting the disassembly so you can quiet all the haters/ non-believers, plus it will give rotary owners something to brag about. It would also be great to see how the internals of the motor held up after all that 700+hp abuse.

Trots*88TII-AE* 02-13-10 11:53 PM

I'll take a bolt-on stage 5 tune please.....

with a side order of fries

Would you like to supersize that?

Trots*88TII-AE* 02-16-10 01:34 PM

Nah, I'm still stuck on the kid's meal. :(

indio84 03-14-10 01:37 PM

Hey enzo good job, but I cannot find the setup on your website. What will be included in the kit and does it retain the a/c? any detail would be appreciated.

enzo250 03-14-10 03:40 PM

My website hasn't been updated in a while. It will be shortly..
The kit is still under development and i should have pics soon.
Kit is currently being developed in SpeedNYC's car. Hopefully he posts some pics soon too.
His car has everything in place. Power Steering, A/C, unmodified Koyo radiator, etc, etc.

It's basically going to be a S475 kit with twin gates basically very similar to what my brothers car and my own car run. Only changes made were for easy fitment without major mods to the radiator. My brothers car required serious modifications to fit the koyo rad, My car runs a honda radiator.

Trots*88TII-AE* 03-14-10 09:46 PM

that is so badass. I thought you were kidding at first. What are you thinking price-range-wise? and you only doing turbo/manifold kit or EMS etc?

enzo250 03-14-10 10:22 PM

Turbo Kit is first. The EMS kit is up next. :)

enzo250 03-14-10 10:31 PM

I hate the fact that other platforms have so many bolt on options that you can literary bolt together a 9 sec race car from a catalog or website. I think its time that the RX-7 join in on that fun...

indio84 03-15-10 11:20 AM

:icon_tup:

enzo250 03-27-10 10:15 PM

Almost there. late next week i'll be building the first production turbo kit for a "special" forum member. :)
Fitment will be tested on his car before i finalise the kit.

SPEED_NYC 03-28-10 07:05 AM

special like those kids on the telathon? :)

indio84 03-28-10 10:49 AM

hey speed nyc, post some pics of your car :egrin:
