went to the track to do some more testing. driver and owner Trevor is having a real hard time getting the launch correct. we were able to get 1 run before it started to rain.

details of that 1 run..

10.5@132.79mph

Rx7 improves 1 tenth and 2 mph but car has tons more in it.. taking baby steps here, but I gotta be patient with the rookie driver..

WoW! Congrats Judge! I understand your reserves about sharing info here, but are you using an S5 rotating assembly with the N20? Unbelievable what you're getting out of it.

I sure do! It still amazes me that they can get so much power out of those antiquated pushrod motors!!! I am gonna have some big shoes to fill when i get my car up here!

Speaking of "antiquated" pushrod engines. We went to the USAC show at Salem, IN last night. The 140 ci 4-cylinder Toyota midget engine is putting down around 340 hp while revving to around 9500. It ain't no DOHC Toyota either. Basically a Cup engine cut in half and destroked. Two valves, cam in the block, and pushrods. Things sound amazing at full song. Only downside? Around $54k for an unassembled engine kit and has a life to rebuild of 4 races.
