3 cars will be representing PR for this first race, unfortunately none of them are rotarys

Here they are..

El Atomo

La Algarete Racing

Chivy King

I'm trying to plan a caravan to Etown on maybe Saturday or Sunday with the GRS-Motorsports members, do you guys like the idea? Would anyone be interested in joining in? We will have the video camera and maybe a few bitches hanging out the windows??

Aight I got a brand new Sony Fx7 with full battery & a fresh tape!!

all CT, NY & NJ guys!!! CT Vintage Mazda crew, NY rotary club, Tri-State rotary club
Bring your mother, your father, your aunt.. We don't care!! Just be on the turnpike with GRS-Motorsports.. This is going to be big

CT guys can meet the NY crew in the Bronx or maybe on the Turnpike at a particular time and then we join up with the NJ guys at exit 9?

When raceway park gets their act together then they will see big #'s again at these shows...

Perhaps have a "who do you want to see" list and voting system

Lot of politics lately with that track when it comes to import racing.

I heard Javier is back with Etown, so hopefully things will go back to how they were. From what I know Javier has a good working relationship with the PR guys.

I remember in past years that cars that went to Etown the week prior to the pan ams (or maybe two weeks prior), were not allowed to compete at the Pan Ams

From very recent experience Raceway park still has not Grown up...
I bet this years attendance #'s will be horrible compared to previous years.

then maybe they can wake up and do things better.

Javier has called my dad X amount of times about coming up to this race. With NSCRA going down the drain, we might go if we get enough money.

I don't know about the other classes but I looked online for the class I race in and weight requirements went up 100 lbs (from 2300 lbs to 2400lbs) and the pay out went down from what was $1200 to $700.

There are usually 2 ways they give out prize money..

Lower payout was probably a reflection of low racer turnout for that particular class.. More cars means more money collected & more Money collected = more prize money

If each class Is independently sponsored, then you'll get the full payout regardless of low or high class attendance.

I'll call you later Kilito

I think he meant the class going forward lowered the payout, not at the actual event he attended.

Yes, exactly what I meant. $4k wasted on match races for people who didn't pay entrance and didn't exactly race for money. That money could have gone toward the pay-out for the people who actually did RACE. Just my thought. Tell me if I'm wrong for thinking that.

Nothing is wrong and it's not going down the drain. They're just trying to get a couple of rules changed so that more people can compete. They just upped the payouts for some of the classes.
Tommorow we are having a meeting to discuss rule changes for some of the classes. The All motor class is deffenitely one of them.

Update

Just got off the phone with the organiser and he said Kapicu & Little Dereck also going to be there. Right now both cars are racing at LakeLand's Import Mania event, so it will be great to have them at Raceway park next weekend.
Apparently some of the FL guys said they are also coming, but with the NSCRA event being on the same weekend, it's still unsure if they will really come to NJ.
