its gonna be custom, suposidly granny's has a kit, but i never heard back form them. Hinson supercars will sell you a bolt in 9" built to your spec's for 5k. ive see a few people make the 8.8 fords work, both form the mustang and explorers.

to just put in a solid rear, yea its not much of a job. but to make it work right is. there are quite a few calculations to be made so it hits the tires right, you have to make sure you can achieve your infinite center, antisquat. sure being off will prob allow you to still cut good 60's but being able to get into the 1.10's and 1.20's will require proper setup and adjustability. This then makes most people turn to the DSS pro rear axle kit, that and the PFS girdle and your good to 850RWHP,keep us updated id be interisted to see how you go about it. Im currently still in the panning phase for mine using a 8.8 out of a explorer (59.5" hub with) with true 4 link bracket. remeber your also gonna need to run c clip eliminators to be able to pass tech, and a drive shaft loop

some pics ive collected over the years

Thanks for the pics bacon. Actually I don't plan on doing much dig racing to be honest but it will still have to be setup perfectly with speeds approaching 200mph. Will be fully adjustable as well.
Plans slightly changed, picked up my old 6 speed so will probably throw that in as well. Ill report back when there's more to report back.
Ps. I put it in this section because I fig it was the best place for a solid rear conversion
