ok boys! This tranny on the street is badass! Up shifts are so easy. Shifts faster than a auto! Down shifting as Anthony said is another story I will need some practice. Just drove it for the first time (6hr tranny in and out job) with no help and no lift.... Drove it to the store and just shifting it at 3-4k the turbo never came out of boost, 2ND gear got a little sideways. Cant wait to run it at the track. If it does hold up its going to shave my times major!

The down shifting it a area you have to find with what was said above, rev matching. I really dont mind about that as I bought this for upshifting!! I am sure with a littl practice I will figure the down shifting out. I try and get some inside video's at the track next weekend.

Quick little video tonight. I was shifting around 6k and not laying into it(shift light set to 6k). I was shifting moderate not trying to bang em like I would at the track. What I have found so far is the tranny likes to shift at regular driving type shifts or high rpms. In the middle its not as happy. The higher the rpms the better it feels/shifts.

ok boys.. I am going Sunday to test it out. My last 6.85 (22psi) showed just a hair over .65 seconds of closed throttle for 2 shifts. 1-2 shift is pretty quick but the 2-3 shift is bad. Anyone want to throw out a guess how much et this will shave off? I am thinking .2-.3??

If anyone knows ..speak up.. When I got my tranny back from Liberty the 1-2 sensor had all the wires cut?? Not sure if this was for a reason or not. But while testing tonight I was having issues shifting 2nd back to first.. I am thinking this sensor reads speed and blocks the 1 st gear from a shift? I installed a good sensor to test in the morning but if anyone knows school me.

Thanks..

ok.. so my last time out car went 6.85 . Today went 6.49 on first pass then 6.44 on second. I love the tranny! Shifting was quick and easy. Have some videos up in a couple days. Weather was perfect and I waas running a couple psi more on turbo. I am thinking this should be very close to a 9.9x pass!

1.39 sixty all via original 110k miles axels and TII diff with PFS diff brace.

So looking at my logs this morning on my 6.44 pass I shifted the 1-2 quick and lifted just a hair but car never came out of boost. However the 2-3 shift was slow. Log shows .45 seconds on that shift. I did a regular-slow on off shift. So know I know the car has more in it.

Problem I have is after driving a manual car my complete life its hard to start not lifting off the gas between shifts. So more seat time and I think that time will drop even more. Logs show a peak of 27.5psi. Hope to have a video up tonight.

The gearbox sounds awesome, but i'm even more impressed with that 1.39 on stock axles! I've got an extra gearbox sitting in my garage that I may have to send to them.
