And by preload do you mean you slip the clutch a bit before getting the green with the handbrake fully on?

Since fitting the front Skinnies as supplied by turboR1
its very stable at the top end of the strip. When I had normal Radial tires up front yes it did get very squirrely after the 8th.Preload question..Well I get the handbrake fully on at the line and bring the clutch to just about the biting point without slipping to much then dump the hand brake and clutch at the same time at green, I do it so quickly I couldnt tell you how long im on the biting point when I stage up.

Well the tires are designed to be run that low, but my HKS Drag IRS suspension is working quite well, I did run higher pressures but that didnt really work out.

Just out of curiosity, I know the HKS rears are 3 kg/mm (~170 lb/in) which is quite a bit lighter then the usual street/race coilovers, but what else makes them better for drag?

approx 1130 kilos or 2535 pounds in old money lol, but that weight will go up when we put the cage in August
