this event was very interesting....
..best two runs of the day were a datsun 280Z with the original straight 6 engine and a C4 tranny..no roll bar or cage or slicks...Ran 9.6.....

then a Nissan 240 with a 2jz swap ran 9.2 with no cage..
both cars were full street cars..

This track races untill 6AM on Friday and Saturdays..want wait for the next event.

Blue 240 with 2JZ belongs to Jason from Big Daddy performance in Florida.. Built by Jason, tuned by Crispeed. It's a 8 second street car

.. it was a blue one from miami, it was really nice!!!..it pulled a 9.2 all over the place.

But by far the datsun 280z was the show stopper..it rolled off the line with street tires and still ran mid 9's...it had the original L28 engine that is SOHC..

It was straight ghetto in flat black primer..this is what i call a real sleeper..them down south boys are great to talk to and real laid back...

there was one 79 corolla with a blow through 13B (holley/pro-jay)..It was also straight ghetto to the fifth power but was unbelievably fast....leaf springs, TII tranny, Cherokee wheels on the back and ....NO REAR BRAKES!!!!!
..I dont think he had a good run because of the wet track but there are vids on you tube running 10s...

We need to have a Piston VS Rotor event at this track...
