Ha HA funny rotorholic......i am doing both sports of racing, just different styles but the engine

You got two weeks Rene..... have you got your motor together yet? If you don't have time, I'll come by and put it together. I'm serious as a heart attack. Give me a call. We need more rotaries to stomp on those Honda's. And you know your buddy Busi is going to be there.- Time for a grudge match.

I know you guys just want 10.80 - 14.. ets.. But my yellow car was a cosistent 10.30-50 at IDRC when it use to go out.. hooray for haltech and dfi back in the days.. hehehe

Thumbs up My first RX2

Here is a picture of my 71 RX2 from way back in the early 90's in Southern California. Damn that car was fuc?ing loud for a street car. Had a lot of fun at the street races back then. I have pictures from when Jose V. when he was a newbie to the rotary scene and had a full head of hair.

Street setup was a 13B 4-Port Streetport built by Henry Hu, 48-IDA with Jaycee Enterprise air horns. My best time with that setup on BF Goodrich Radial TA's was 13.50-70's. Then decided to go racing at the track what a big mistake that was.

This brings back good memories and hope to be racing at a local track soon.

Thanks
Albert

Lets see, You are jenelle or jernell the guy who never pops his hood? If yes let me refresh your memory a bit, dodger staidium or stadium way, You came looking for me with sean with that monster BP loping brap, brap brap, brap? At the end of the night we were counting your money and eating steak and shrimp. I do remember the dfi and haltechs back in the day, rene did run 8s with both. now thats what I call a classic
You still have that classic rx3 in so-cal? If yes, I have a rx3 street car with 2 seats and all the glass in it you can line up next to. It runs on $2.70 a gallon fuel from the pump. ill let you know where and when next time im out there. All so-cal members in attedance will eat steak and shrimp after the race....

But it would be nice to have that wagon with band wagon with doors... I don't know any sean, unless you raced jimmy from fast back wards...
Since we are in the subject we should see some progress on your car, doors would be nice... l

Janel,

Everyone wanted a piece of Jose back then because his car was fast. I believe the car we raced was a grey RX7 with a 13B Bridge Ported engine from PHE. We raced once and let you guys win (sucker race). Then beat you twice because Sean could not believe a street port motor whipped his ***. That was the good old days street racing at Stadium Way up at Dodger Stadium. Don't feel bad you were not the only street racer to fall victim to Jose's RX3. I actually remember getting into lots of trouble because some people could not accept a well tuned street port motor could smoke a Bridge motor.

Can't wait to see you guys race your turbo cars? When and where?

Albert

But as you guys said it was my car, but I wasn't the one racing.. And I was the one that you guys had steak and shrimp.. Its a long shot to have someone to have them race your car and have them loose your money... Odd
