I had my doubts aswell but I stepped up and was willing to put my car on the line. None of us are rich and the help needed just wasn't coming fast enough.

i can tell you from first hand expirience that theres is no money to be made from drag racing , we have 3 nhra sport compact championships in the all motor class and if i were to show you the teams credit car bills , you would flip, we do it for the love of it , the love of the sport, ask rene how much money he has made drag racing , ask crispeed and domingo how much money they have made **** ask abel ibarra thats why he works @ ford , we all work our asses off all week to go out to the strip and have some fun . racing is a gamble and all kinds of **** can go wrong you cant have a winner without a looser and we have all lost, so dont think that anyone here fears loosing to a toyota , this war has been goin on for a long time and so it will be

The supra guys are insane, so a race against them is like giving away a car ( 700HP+ supras vs 600 MAX RX [no 3 rotors for us]).

We can do the www.zilvia.net vs. www.RX7club.com (i'm concerned about the RB swaps because we would have the same issue as the Supra guys but we can always sandbag them!!! )

we should challenge them AFTER WE have all our parts ready. My offer still stands for the clutch and rims.

 

If this gets rolling again I'm going to call some people I know up in NYC that can build a 800hp p-port/GT45 combo in their lunch hour
