Jose Román, Are you using 4 brake calipers on the rear discs brakes? I mean, 2 per wheel so as the brakes do'nt slip when you are staging? Are'nt you using a TransBrake for launching? I really do'nt understand, because when using a trans brake the valve body active first gear & reverse simultaniouslly, and the trans outputshaft is not sending torque to the rearend. Could you explain it, I will appreciate it.

By the way, there are quick time performance sfi certified bellhousings/scattershields to mount a C4(part number RM-4090) or AOD(part number RM-4092) to rotary engines!

Thank you Jose. Let's see if I understand; You are loading the engine (with ignition timming advanced) agaisnt the torque converter with the rear brakes and the 3 step set up so as to buid boost, right? So, if I'm running allmotor I do not need to load the engine to build boost, right? So in a allmotor application I just need to use the transbrake to buid RPM to launch?

Little update on my c4 automatic set up,well I smoked some clutches,I resealed and clutched the trans,I found that the out put shaft actually twisted a little at the front side of the splines,I new some thing was up because the last couple times I had the drive shaft out it would not slip all the way up against the tail shaft, this does not bug me it's just maintenance, but it screwed up my converter .it's a Neal chance converter bolt together unit,I broke 3 small chips off the pump side of the converter and layer the fins/vanes over.my race budget is very tight right now so I will repair it myself, contacted the builder about it,it would cost at least 600 to fix it,the trans is together just need to fix the converter,

When I start run the Rx7 the best 60 feet its 1.34 but we run 6.07 @112 mph but To Rich!!!!
When I Run 5.98 et the 60 feet its 1.43 et to agresive in the lounch at 7,100 rpm to Much Tire slip.....But I start to make adjusment on the lounch with the 2 step. 6,000rpm 1.38 60 feet & 5,800 rpm 1.37 60 feet.....for me its very impresive because its a mazda 13b at this low rpm we have Power with a 87 engine street port...

Damn.. I have been waiting for your auto set up to come out! I figure with the guys up in that area you could get a combo working well? Why did u sell ernies old combo? I figured that was the clue u were going auto! My tranny is back at liberty getting freshened up. Was thinking after I get my s475 Tuned an auto would be soon to follow.

Well Jim is still trying to get his th350 dialed in, was having problems with his tec3 so he hasn't made a clean pass on it, he on team microtech now so we should see a pass soon enough...trust me I haven't given up.. I have my geArset storing and waiting for my reinforced tranny case to come back.,, I've been delaying b/c still think the automatic a viable option (as above proves) just have personal reservations on only having 2 speeds (pg) and that the c4 robs more power than the th 350, the th350 also seems to have better gearing, even though I know the great ing isn't like a manual trans... This is a great thread with alot of good info
