Check this out,this R/C truck has a 2 rotor rotary engine,
It is the same engine as a real wankel but small,this is designed made by OS engines Japan.

I saw this engine before at a hobby store a while back,but they are made in single rotors,peripheral ports only,this guy in the video coupled 2 motors together to make a 2 rotor engine.NICE!!!

This guy took my idea,oh well

lol those cars have to be the coolest things I've ever seen, haha. I know rice racing is into rc cars maybe he has a few of these. That two rotor is just bad ***. you can see the tires expanding and contracting. That little thing has to have some horsepower.

edit: does anyone have any pics of the remote control rotary engine taken apart? would love to see all the little springs and seals.

 

That thing is sick.Maybe oneday when i have time and some extra cash,I'll do a 3 rotor engine for fun.I was into R/C Cars for a long time,in fact i was a PRO Racer for
13 years before i started racing my BIG cars.I still miss racing the little ones.

 

yeah. that is sick! maybe he's onto something. would have loved to see it run against something though.

 

I love my RC 1/8th scale buggy..... even set up a rig to tune it with my wideband gear

the wankel is the reason i got into this hobby BUT once i learned about 2 strokes the wankel was scraped in favour of a real motor.

i make modify my own rossi 0.21cu motors they rev to consistently 35000rpm and make about 3.5bhp, have data loged free revs on my telemtry gear at 45500rpm, i get my own custom fuel made to my specs in 20lt batches, run carbon adjustable clutches & have a damn lot of fun with it ....... I'll try to find a video of it and post it for your viewing pleasure
