For the guys running mickey thompsons et street or similar slick, do you slip your clutch out of the hole or do you just dump it.

Dump it. You want those tires to bite in and wrinkle up.

I would start from 6k then move up... watch your 60ft and see which one is better. Also make notes (mental or written) on track conditions.. Launching 7k in the day might not work at night or a less prep track...

Most successful racers knows how to work the track..

oh, you have all the goods to launch like a maniac. Let her rip!!

Good luck

Start at 15 and work your way down in 1/2 psi increments. Make sure you have a good, accurate gauge.

And as Indian said, you'll have to work the track. It will always be different.

Agreed Rev(i go to about 7-8k) Dump It. But without skinnies i wouldnt go much under 15psi. Someone told me that but didnt believe them till i went down the track the rear sways real bad(had to let off at one point). Mainly because when you try to do a small correction, normal tires will want to over correct. Got skinnies and now run around 14psi warm. Now i do have a T2 LSD and no brace yet but going to soon since i just broke my first axle after about 10 10 sec passes with 1.5 0-60's(and some other passes).

I load up on the handbrake on the line then dump the clutch and handbrake approx 7k rpm.
Running Skinnies and ET streets with 12 psi in the rear and 28psi up front.

Regarding breaking axles I broke my first one last October, have now upgraded to Stillway axles. Going for big launch at my next race round next month, hoping for low 10s and maybe a 1.3x 60ft
