Question about NHRA Modified rules
We were browsing through the rule book the other day to see what is all needed for our car and we came across this:
Turbocharger:
All aplications
Turbine housing inlet flange shall be no larger than what is commonly reffered to as a T04. The turbine housing inlet flange may be smaller, but may not exceed the T04 dimentions in any direction.
So does that mean our T6 divided flange is too large?

look into one of the new TiAl turbine housings. I'm not sure whether or not the diameter is greater than the width of the T4 flange, but it might be worth looking into. It's a nice compromise. Flows better than the T4s, likely worse than the T6s. The real loss, is that it is undivided (obviously). Also, it'd obviously require some reworking of the manifold if it's already built.
Sorry if that doesn't help at all.
