so was this on at DGRR? Anything wrong on the old 4202?
Phil is interested in doing a weekend event that would consist of a road track, autoX and DRAG RACING! I told him I would see what kind of interst there would be on this. I know its a haul for most of you but would be a half way point for the guys going back and forth to FL and same for the FL guys. Wondering if we could get some $$ and grudge matches set up then some may be more intersted in coming. It would be a 1/4 track and they do prep it well. Anyone interested? Edgar mentioned he may be able to bring a couple cars up.

No, I got it the day we left. Believe it or not, the 4202 is brand new, but the rules in the class of the NSCRA true street say it can't be bigger then a 72mm compressor and the 4202 is a 74mm wheel. Go figure.
And yes the event sounds nice, but Im not driving 12hrs again lol..

Virginia is close to everyone and has a nice track, I wonder if he could do something there.

To be honest I think he was looking at Steele, AL. Because there is Talledega's mini road course close by along with Barber's track and museum. I was thinking this would be a middle meeting spot for the S. FL guys and the Northern guys. Maybe run it in fall when your tracks are shut down but we still have 1-2 months to go?? Prices here are way cheaper to rent a track and they are also VERY open about Tech. There was a small rotary event last year in Southern AL so maybe we could just move that one here and combine to make it big. With all Phil's contact's I bet we could get some decent prize money for all classes. But in the end its still a hell of a haul for you guys.
