drag racing is dead now days....WORK WORK....everyone i know is selling their race cars....even me...

Try another sport...another hobby.... drag racing is only for the rich people with no tracks to race on(trophy car for looks)Like my 2 cars.

 

I disagree, Drag racing is for people who love the sport no matter how poor or rich they are, race within your budget. Guys selling their racecars to follow a trend were never true drag racers in the first place, Bakersfield is only 2 hr drive from LA, get the LA racers together and make a fun weekend out of it

I have had a lot of money troubles lately and had actually considered selling my car. After scraping up enough money to make the trip to Florida and get the car tuned i now have a new found passion for the sport. Hanging out with those guys really renewed my passion and i decided no matter what that i would never sell my car! I can't wait to get that beast out on the track and really open some eyes!!!!!

 

I got a pro mod style secound gen setting in the tralior fo 5 years everyone thinks im crazy for not selling, but ive got years of work and money in that car and they can bury me in as far as im concerned. I want to get it done but i put a 653 supercharger on it and that was a big mistake it wolud only make 20 psi and i blew up the blower.
I need to turbo it with standalone and efi what i have now is mechanical injection.
Its a methanol car and the farthest its gone is the portapot at the track.
But it hit 9000.00 and 20 psi in the blink of an eye. Its also a jatco auto trannie.

Ford 9'' 514 gears with a full spool 4 link 29.5 10.5 w slicks on 12x15 bogarts lexan, 12 point cage twin jacobs pro10 ing dist set up.

I think i will take some pictures and see what you guy think!

When the weather gets nicer i will get it out of the tralior and cry a little and take pictures. The motor probley only has 2hour run time.
If i got a carabiean trannie 6000 stall i could atleast blow the trannie up!

I wonder if i could get one of those stimulass loans fo a billion or two they seem to be givimg them out pretty freely!
