Thanks guys. and thanks to Enzo. The tune sounded great throughout the whole run....No farts or pops. Engine sucked in the front cover o-ring and began losing oil pressure. Then it was time to go home...sux.

Are you using the front cover gasket? If so get rid of it and use Ultra Grey sealant on the front cover to seal it. Doesn't leak and have never had problems with the o-ring being sucked in.

There were alot more cars there last year.... Didnt see alot of FD's.... Still all in all the event was great had a really good time. Even better when my buddy starlet ran a 8.03 at 174 mph on only his fifth pass... With that mph we should be running in the 7s in no time

Congrats Freddie! Can you tell me more about your setup..Tranny? HP? Tires?

This has to be one of the best Pan Ams ever. Finals came down to a Honda vs a red first gen Rx7. If that honda would have won Pan Ams I don't know what would have happened lol. In the finals both cars dialed in a 7.20. I could not believe the stands were packed at 10pm, no one wanted to leave even after the run.

Great great event. Thanks Allen (13brx3) for letting us crash at his place for another Pan Ams. We spent about 3 hours in the garage drooling over his Rx3, unbelievable. Then we spent another few hours talking rotary till almost 7am and then headed to the track. Great weekend.

Thanks Aaron Rotaryboyz for the great parking! Real men carry pink boxknives

My setup is a 13B semi-periferal turbo(74mm), Meth, Turbo 2 trans., 26x10 slicks on a Back-Half datsun. I dont know how much HP (Ask Enzo). His machine works with Kilowatts. No idea, but I do know it's running great.

I may use the RX8 or Cosmo metal gasket.

The last few motors I built I used the metal ones, no issues and dont have to worry about o rings.

Don't worry about the HP, I was more concerned on why you were spinning on top. What clutch are you using? How was your 60ft and 1/8times?
