The qualifying times did not match the ladder cause the times here on the forum are only after one round so my excellent 15 sec time actually improved to an 8.0@142mph. There are some other racers that also improved there times as well after the final round of qualifying. After a drivers meeting Team USA and PR decided to go 1/8mile for safety purposes.

We then went to salinas on weds for just test and tune no real racing just test hits to prepare for a major event soon to be announced. Track conditions were a little better and we are getting our island tune down but were pretty pleased with our final test pass being a 7.5 pulling the chutes early and lifting at the 1000ft mark.

I am sure it goes without saying this was absolutley the best time racing i have had in my entire life. No offense to the crowds hear locally but i have never heard cheering inside my helmet with ear plugs on just for a burnout at atco or englishtown

Here is some advice to my weak *** friends that would not even take advantage of free tickets......Do not miss this next event!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think it's the car, it's the engine.

Got a mail from Ken this morning, this is what he said

Loquito only changed the injectors & checked the rear shocks because Ken suspected there was a problem after the car spun the tires all the way down the Carolina track.. The car still runs a TEC3R and it's still being tuned by KEN SCHEEPERS... He also has no plans on switching the Tec unit for another setup..

As stated before. The decision to allow Edwin to drive his car was made long before the car arrived in PR.. Ken said it was an awsome experience watching his car go down the track and what he saw, allowed him to make the neccessary changes that allowed the 7.4 run..

rest assure this car will be in the 7.1's before it leaves Puerto Rico.. As I said before, no one in this sport deserves it more than Ken

PS. He said to thank all you guys for your kind words & support... The Nuclear Banana is coming!!
