Plz Judge if Kia offered me a car to race all year
I would switch to Kia in a minute, racing coast to coast is EXTREMELY expensive

I think it is very cool for MAZDA to get involved finnaly
don't care if its with the I4 engine big woop

Keep up the good work Dee!!

Rum till i die...or was that rotary till i die??hmmm

Crispeed and Dee got these name's they call each other because they both are hanging out over at the dark side for now.... we hope

Dee still tunes rotarys so its not like he's completely over with them.. I think he got a deal that he probably couldn't pass up and he took it, who can blame him because I would have probably done the same... For me its not what your race or drive for your sponsers, its what in your heart that matters... If racing a piston motor is whats paying the bills and putting food on the table then **** it, because that what its going to be.. I'm rotary till i die, ask anyone but lets face it, there are no major sponsership programs available for rotarys because of defference reasons..
Mazda is backing Ed & Ron in Pro FWD, so why not offer a similar piston deal to someone who loves the mazda brand, and have made a statement in MOD class with a mazda product..
For the few diehards like myself, we love anything with the mazda name attached to it but we're in-love with the wankle

Good luck Dee, give those Toyotas, Nissans and V8's hell in '08

I don't think that is the case, as Dee mentioned on one of the videos; that he is still working FUL TIME on his old job.

IMHO, its Mazda's fault

There is a Kilo or a Pica that could use some MAZDA sponsorship; IMHO a RX-8 would look good on the all motor class.

All of the guys you mention above should be given a major sponsership deal but I think for a rotary its a long shot... A/M rules don't favor the RWD cars so it might be a bad deal for any sponser who's seeking a RWD 13b car, plus rotary parts aint cheap or as reliable.. Maybe its cheaper to run a piston powered car for a full season with parts, fuel, transport etc than it is for a rotary powered car.. Yes Rotary's have improved on ET's and reliablity over the past 2 years but we're still not at a consistant level of a piston motor.. The piston guys might run all season with 3 complete engines and only change minor parts but for the most part they're using the same block and head, but what about a rotary car? How much cracked side plates, blown apex seals & damage housings you think they'll need?
I'm just speaking from my observations and from what Im told by asking a bunch of questions.. From a business point of view, I would rather support a Piston team than a rotary team in any form of high hp drag racing, why? because I feel we'll have less breakage, more reliablity and more solid R&D with the Piston motor.. Thats just me and my old drunk ***

Now lets hear the Pros, the guys that actually do this **** everyday... Dee where are you? hanging out over at mazda3 club?
