I wonder why he switched his turbo manifold, turbo location, and went with an IC?

The word on the street is that Ken WILL BE at the Pan Ams

Car looks great. I read that he won his class in the Texas Tuner Showdown. Ken's a cool guy, it would be great to see him at Atco.

I saw his car run at Texas Tuner S.D. and it sounded really good. He is a very cool person. Good luck to him and to his crew.

If I'm not mistaken he's running a air to water intercooler. I believe that's the set-up I saw on his car in Dallas, last week. Not that it matters but almost his whole crew are boricuas. Hi to Victor, Juan and the rest of his corillo.

Ken has a completely different setup from the guys thats don't run a IC... Most non IC cars have a CNC throttlebody with less than 2ft of piping from the turbo to the Hat.. I guess different strokes for different folks... Maybe for Ken's porting it made sense to run a conventional plenum vs the CNC TB and because of all that piping he added a IC to help cool down the intake temps..

*uneducated guess

^ thats why Flaco put the black sheet metal over the Intake on the Rx3 and Chato blured out the Intake manifold on the pics of his sweet FD...

When you're amost the handful of guys making 1200 hp on a 13b then you're realise how important a blanket is
Besides its not that cold in Texas for Ken to cover up the engine with a blanket

That's fine and I can understand why they do it but that's also one big reason why the rotary drag community is so small. It's all hush hush. We should be putting our pride aside and helping out other rotary brothers/sisters and share our know's with others to help boost this amazing engine up and kick some piston ***!

I would never cover my engine, I dont understand why people do that, same rotary engine, I think it comes down to engine tuning, clutch and chasie adjustment.....
