Jesus, you're cutting times like those with a hair under 400rwhp? Your car is pretty light, but damn, that's seriously fast! Would you say it's because you produce lots of power over a broader RPM range now, or simply because you're launching the **** out of your car?

I've seen a few cut 1.5's on those tires with about 380-400HP. You car is very consistent! Were all the times 11.1?

Why did you sell the tires? Any issues with swaying up top?

Anthony

No, I meant your ET and trap speed. :P Mark Corbett had 40 more hp than you and was 2mph lower/.5 second lower than you. Then again, there aren't many good drag strips around here...

Thanks man!! my best was 11.001 and most were between that and 11.2. My best last year was 10.97 but that was on 4.10's and radials, but now i have 3.90's and ET streets. there was headwind and car had fuel issues (slosh?). i sold the ET streets because i only drag race once per year, and damn, i break something every friggin time, so i'm done. i still own the ET street radials if i get the urge again. Yes, i was swaying on the top end and i called it a day because the sway got too bad and the tranny mount snapped.

oh, well i am a great power shifter so that counts for a lot. and track prep and altitude of course.

Nice runs and great 60'! That car is hooking for sure and great driving.

Snub- My runs were on 7 year old Nitto 245/50/16 Drag Radials cutting 1.85-1.9 60' times with road race suspension and delrin bushings. Also my springs are 550/400 which are much stiffer than 2MCHPWR's setup. Not a true comparison. The 60' is key to fast ets.

2MCHPWR is cutting kick *** 60' times on those really sticky new ET Streets. If I had those 60' times I would be running 10's. These cars are consistent once you learn to launch them as evidenced by his repeatable low low 11 timeslips.

My best et and mph was an 11.42@127.4mph with a 1.87 60'. Input a 1.51 60' time and it would've produced a 10.88 et. I ran 99.9mph in the 1/8th that day with nice cool temps outside. The car runs mid 11's no matter what the temperature outside. The resulting mph at the end of the 1/4 tells you how much power you are making. I'm in a 346ci with heads/cam/headers. 2MCHPWR has a 370ci with H/C and headers.
