You mentioned 28" tire, what width are you looking to run?

car is finaaly done, its on its way to pimars shop to get the wireing done and hopefully some testing after that

am putting the 28" slicks on a hold for now
with the power am expecting i should be fine
by next year i will be fitting the 28" slicks
it was going to be too much work
we needed to make a upper control arm and move the shocks inward

for now i hope these 26 " work

hey guys a little bit of update on the car

car is completely done and dynoed
here are some#

i took it for testing at orlando last thursday and rained aswel as friday
so saturday, took it out for a spin in the pit area for a 2 step launch i broke the 2nd gear
when shifting from 1st to 2nd
i had a band new stock tranny build by liberty with complety face plate
am going to save up for a clutchless



turbo is a bullseye batomowheel 72mm 1.32 a.r on e98, 6x 2000cc id injector with a microtech lt16
motor is a semi
pm me turbo makes at 15psi around 550hp
and the 867 was 25 psi

Sounds like there is a market for liberty to make gears for this box.

i have 2 more of these that are done by liberty, they havent shiped them yet
i think i had to use a single disk act instead of the twin disk every thing is so hard on thos stock gears
but the tranny felt nice on the dyno

Well I run a sintered iron disk and it doesn't slip a bit. Just broke 3rd gear this weekend but it went a year with no issues. But on much less power than you are making.

I will talk with Paul in the morning. There was talk years ago about doing gears for this box but it would need to be used by more than a hand full. Curious to know how many Mazda boxes he has built.

8.48 @ 160mph with a 1.23 60ft
this was end of march at orlando speed world
hit the revlimiter in 3rd gear and its a bit rich on top

going to install a ams 1000 boost controller
some small changes here and there
