Ernie,

That's what i'm running.. I can get you one but it's a very special unit and most don't carry's it in stock. They will have to come straight from Aussie. Not bad though usually takes about 1~2 weeks tops..

BTW so you know. The M&W Pro Drag Rotary cdi will only fire with a -VE/falling edge.
This is the same edge that fires an autronic cdi. Just figured i'd throw that out there since you couldn't get the autronic to work..

isn't the Pro Drag M&W only for Drag? Thought it over heated after staying all for long periods of time... I mean, if your going only to be a drag car then your good.

It won't overheat. What you need to do is trigger the high output only when needed.
So at lets say 15psi you trigger to cdi to run 250mj. Otherwise it will run at 150mj.

Thats a cool feature and makes a ton of sense. How does it take the input for that?

If you guys wanna do a GB let me know.. I'm getting the 4R for $200 less than retail and the coils for $40 less than retail. They are in-stock, so you can get it in 4-5 business days

Emailed M&W about setting up the Drag box like Enzo suggested as I'd never heard of those boxes being able to do what he's saying. The documentation they ship with the boxes doesn't mention it. They do mention dual power modes and the pinouts support this with some of their other boxes.

What M&W told me was that they can build the box to do what Enzo is suggesting but the standard, off the shelf Drag boxes do not support dual output operation. The company line is that the standard Drag box "was never designed for high duty cycle operation to keep it’s size small". Meaning the standard Drag box is for limited duty use only.

I would guess that Enzo knows how to make the correct modifications to the off the shelf boxes or would supply one that M&W has setup as such. Just want the average Joe-price-shopper to be aware that if you order an off the shelf Drag specific box it's not going to have provisions for dual power operation out of the box. Either talk to Enzo directly or make sure your retailer knows what you want and is supplying you with the correct part.

You are correct..
Hence the reason why i'm saying it takes time to get them direct from australia..

But the Joe-price-shopper's could get them from many of the internet ***** house's that stock them and maybe even use them and will support them too..

I'm surprised you can get the pro drag in 3 weeks. It took me 8 weeks to get mine and that was last year. Mine is still sitting in the box waiting to get install
