Launch Bog

I'm trying to decipher wher i'm going wrong at launch:
At 5K easing off the clutch( minimum wheel spin) the car accelerates okay.
At 6.5K dropping the clutch and redlining the gear change after all the wheel spin/hop the 2nd gear falls absolutely FLAT. Almost as though the ecu is in some failsafe mode. This will last almost forever, meaning that the RPMS climb very lazily unless i neutralise and relaunch.
Car Stats:
93r1
street port
Redom ECU
ACT street/strip clutch
FPR
Xs Power SMIC

I launch at much higher RPM's (7K or so) but I wouldn't if I were you unless you have Kaaz rear end and some good slicks.

I guess I don't know what an "ecu falling flat" is.......It sounds like you are just bogging the launch which will drop the rpm's below 4K which will kill your power.
