Last track day this year.

I managed a 10.90 with a 1.63 60 ft and a 124.72 mph. Not as good as the 10.87 the first of the year but i was having a problem with the driver {me}. And i like being able to drive 25 miles to the track run a 10.90 and drive home in cruse. Also the stock suspension and 14 year old axles made it one more time. The 11.50 ets dont seem to work as well as the 10.50 et's with my clutch and h/p level. Oh well more to do $$$$. The water temps made me proud too, launch at 180 deg and on the return road its down to 175 deg. with 67 deg. ambient. Any way had to tell someone that might know the challenge.

Ive got to go with meth. im pushing it at 20 lbs on pump. The car did really well i screwed up three out of five runs. I may be testing a new meth system out of Okla. its a progressive controled system off the map. If it works well i want Kan to retune the 7.

Good runs! Do you go alone or are there any other FDs/rotaries with you? Do you know what your intake temps were after hitting 4th?

Anthony i havent logged any runs yet i need some traning. But when i got back to the pits i felt the cool side of the I/C pipe and it was cooler than skin temp. I have the e6k and need to carry the laptop to log but im a puts with comptuters. The afr is 10.8 and at above 8000. goes to 10.5. I built a lot of heat sheilds on the lim, put my own duel oil coolers on, shields for the rad and air intake on the scoot style hood. Like i said its never been over 180 deg water temp, And 0n an 85 deg day running down the hwy at 70 mph it might get to 175 deg. The only logged air temp was on the dyno with a 68 deg ambient third pull at 14 lbs and 420 hp it was 76 deg. By the way im 8.5 to 1 cermet coated rotors and housings. And i wish there was some other rx7 guys to go with im tired of being called a fast 4 cyl. My friends are too damn fast to keep up with. After watching you guys run in the east im envyous. Thanks!
