Hey baby, are you jealous I'm not all over your million dollar high 9 second RACE car? Don't worry honey, the day you learn to put a jack under your car when **** breaks then I'll show you some brown loving... I hate men who can't handle their own rear end.

Unfortunately I'm not a qualified toilet unclogger so I need to sell shirts to support my drug addition.

Ernie are you retarded?? (imminent ban). How the hell was I being a racist? Because I used the word "white"? Did I call them "cracker" or any of those derogatory words? Stop being a little bitch by nitpicking at every little thing that's said on this forum. Do you feel left out because guys up north are going quicker with less? If so, that's not my fault or my problem. Maybe you need a hug? Do you need a hug Ernie? Don't worry bro, you'll get all the hugs are kisses when I come down there for the world finals.

Yes you did comment on the feat, but it was the last thing you mention in your reply. Obviously the "white" comment got your attention first.
A room full of old, non colored :-) Americans who looked like they grew up around corn fields their whole life was on their feet after the so called "lawnmower" engine ran 7.11... Hey Ernie, is that better?

lol I got quite a few Puerto Rican buddies Ernie, that's just the way they talk, really no big deal. I'm usually the group rotary gringo or cracker but we are all brothers from another mother and you **** with any of us and we all got each others back even the gringos, haha. We all got rotary hearts and that's all that matters when you get right down to it and even though the Puerto Ricans I know joke around they ALL understand this concept. Besides what was he supposed to say to describe a white guy?

back to the subject....otra runs 7.08 on Sunday @200mph...on one run he bent the wheelie bar and when he opened the parachute the rear section of the car lifted..

at them speeds they are pushing the limits....we will see if they return next year with this car or another longer wb chassis..

Goodness is the 13B record is back on US soil!!!!

^ My bad.. I was a little ticked off at Mr Ernie's comments, but I have nothing against plumbers because without them I would be in deep **** *plumber humor*

This La Otra record was on everyone's mind this weekend.. Lots of people were left scratching their heads in wonder. There were even some claims of Chuck Norris being involved with the tuning & engine build

Jay Tec is total garbage. Seen personally bring two cars down in flames due to the horribly casting.

Didn't say anything about him, but those manifolds are garbage. I had a friend almost burn to death. (Demetrios)That said, I say it to his face that the manifolds are total crap. Unless its been changed, the injectors are held down with a screw into the sand casting and the threads strip.

Big congrats to everyone involved!!!

Tito chassis does it again. This chassis was originally built to be a nitrous only car, amazing work.

haaaaa yeah i know what intake you are talking about. My dad has that intake on his turbo II and its a hassle to get the injectors mounted and not to leak. I don't think he makes those anymore. last time i saw him he was making the carb style Throttle Body set up, thats probably why (KNONFS) said jay tech type. I saw JAY with a carb style Throttle Body back in 2001 i don't know if E&J where already making them back then.

Older Jay-Tech stuff had weak casting around the studs etc.. I remembered when Dee caught fire at Atco, actually I think I have it on video.

Mazda guys have a serious case of bandwagon behavior.. There is no 1 perfect brand or combo to build a record breaking Rotary. Hell, they all work!! Some a bit more efficient than others, but in the end they all will get the job done.

Some guys are running 7.1's @ 190's all day long on ALS seals, while others are running the same time with Super Seals. The world's quickest Rotary uses a modified stock 20b intake manifold, Flaco ran a similar time with a custom aluminum plenum. La Otra uses RX7parts.com apex seals to go 201 mph, while Sporty used a custom plenum to run 198. MIB did 7.05 with a Pro-Jay TB/LM while Kenneth did the same time with a E&J TB.

Ask your engine builder/tuner what they feel comfortable using instead of running out to buy new parts. My $.02
