Jigsaw...

Hey guys,
I'm seriously thinking about selling the allmighty Jigsaw car...I really don't want to get rid of it, but I don't want to spend the money it needs to stay together consistently, I've got to focus more on the shop. With just a little money, this car has the ability to run consistent low nines easy...possibly even faster. Email me if anyone is interested. Since the value for this car is really unknown, I think I will put it up on ebay within the next few months for bids unless the right offer comes around. Let anyone interested to keep an eye out for it....Here is a link to the car's website...www.Jigsawrx7.com... the car also has other mods since the last update on the website....I'd post up in the classifieds, but they don't want any "feelers" posted...

Dan after talking to you i understand you have alot invested in the shop and dont need to risk your chances blowing money on anything right now.

Im sure you dont want to sell but you need to do whats best for you!

Good luck Dan.

I dont know what to expect to get, its kinda hard to tell. The cars still got a LOT of potential. I keep twisting off different parts of axles, mainly the inners and outer stock shafts, although cryo treating has helped 100% already, and they last for a while usually. I am working to install a cobra IRS setup at the moment, so well see how that holds up. $2k for axles from DSS is steep, but another alternative to solving the problem and should only have to be replaced every few years. Another issue is we are shearing the output shaft off constantly in the transmission. I have checked into making an aftermarket shaft, but no solutions that don't require a ton of money. The fix, now that most of the sanctioning bodies have dissapeared, is to just install a g-force or an auto from level 10, or equivelant. Simple solution, but money I don't need to be spending. I have opened up a shop for Mustang performance, and the money needs to be going into a shop racecar or the shop instead.

The motor also has more potential for power, it makes 600-630 rwhp respectively. I am going to rebuild and refine the motor before selling.

dam that sucks.. are these parts breaking only during the launches? what about the output shaft when is that breaking ? during the launch or half way down the track?

Good luck with the mustang shop and drag car.

Good luck with the mustang shop and drag car.

All the parts that break are only breaking on the launch.
