Team USA will be racing in the next coming weeks at Ponce Speedway in PR... Ponce's race track is a 1/8 mile track that could be altered to suit a NHRA style 1000ft finish line, so we will definately be seeing some 6 second runs

There will be several grudge matches in the coming weeks, with Dee facing off with La Maijailin on Thursday February 19th. The other grudge matches will be on March 7th & 14th for the big events with action from Brent Rau vs Adriana is back, to Men in Black vs Lucimar Racing

So thats March 7th & 14th at Ponce... PM me for hotel info
This could be a family affair, with a waterpark etc built into the hotel which is next to the track

 

ah **** how are we supposed to beat the peurto ricans then have been putting up some crazy numbers this year.

 

Most, if not all of the PR cars will be coming out for this event... Sporty, Falito etc, plus all of the 3/4 chassis cars

This is going to be good...

We will not be attending this race or the match race. We tried our best to stay as long as possible but we have other scheduled events as well as some changes that need to be made to the car for the up coming season. The car is on its way back but we do look forward to its return.

Sorry to hear that Dee, hope those guys can organise another big event like Import Revolution, so team USA can kick some ***.

Taking the of Dee is Paradise Racing.. Luis will pilot the Celica against La Maijailin in their 2nd match race.. Thier first match race back in '07 at Etown resulted in a Maijailin win after Paradise got out of the groove

 

All the match races are going to be good but the one I'm looking forward to is "La Adriana vs Brent Rau". That is going to be a clash of GIGANTES!

 

Yea its going to be a good event... The black datsun "Yancarlos" did a 1.04 60ft then backed it up with a 1.08 on the second pass, so things are looking good for '09.

It's sort of disappointing they are not racing 1/4 mile, but we should see some "ADRL" type of side by side action all the way to the finish line

The main events are on the 7th & 14th.. Last weeks event was supposed to have been a match race between Paradise Racing & Maijailin, but Maijailin suffered mechanical problems..

 

This coming Saturday (7th) will be the must anticipated match race between Adriana is back & Brent Rau. On the 14th would be the main event but unfortunately I will not be attending.
