Notice how fill the stands are and it's been like that for three days now.
That's what racing is all about and it will live on and grow to be greater from year to year like it have done for 15yrs now.
Some people need to take some notes and learn what the real import racing is all about and most important what the paying fans want to see.

 

i hope NHRA, NOPI are watching this event.

Makes NHRA and NOPI look silly with all the sponsors/money that these big organizations had and they couldn't get the stands filled like this. This just shows that import/sport compact drag racing isn't dead, it's just being promoted and run improperly.

 

One of the problems nhra and nopi had in my opinion is that the local racers that would bring 4-5 people with them and generate local intrest were not promoted in any way.

Not everyone follows import raceing nationally but if they know some one local they will attend to cheer them on!
I get turned off by the big sponserd teams with out a limit to there budget, i like to watch the little guy try to slay the dragon!

Anthony is one of the guys i like to hear about becouse he has such a large team!

I know you have to have the pro racers but in the import world i think the small budget guys bring in the fans too!
