I went yesterday and Rene qualified in second place with a 10.3 with a 1.4 60 footer. He can go faster. It is going to be hard to get to the #1 qualifier a blistering 9.6 with a hybrid body honda. I heard the honda is way lighter than REne's car. Hopefully the honda will break an axle or tranny and Rene can bring home the win. Good luck Rene.

Manny was out but had a tranny rear bearing problem that left him out. It was nice to go out and support the rotories and hanging out with all you guys. Soon I will have my duece out there with you guys. Take it easy

Thanks you all for the support outhere and help. The race event was tuff. There was alot of fast hondas and VWs outhere that were in the 10's sec zone.

I give props to all the rotorhead racers who went out to race, here is a good
example of rotary spirit.Hope they fix the problems out and come to race again
James and Manny,it is not easy to just go out and race without any prior runs.

Once again it was good to see all the rotaries together in the same pit including
Santos Toyota sprinter and other toyotas and rotary suzukies. This is what is all about getting together and having a good time.

Here is another link to what was going on in the race.
