I need to learn how to shift

I made 4 passes after that and missed 3rd gear each time. I should have stayed in the gas the first time

The next time you come in here and say you lift again I'm going to come up ther and put my foot in your........!
You have to actually run in the '9's before you get kicked out. Also you need to be able to do two consistent 9 sec runs for your license runs so stop messing around and leave that right foot planted to the floor!

WTF??!! I guess congrats are in order cause it's very VERY obvious you have a solid 9sec car......that is if you can keep your foot in it.

So what kind of setup did you end up running? I'm really curious to see what the end result was that allowed that 1.43 60' time. Not bad at all!

12 lbs in the tires, front and rear shocks on full soft.

I didn't use the 2 step at all last night.

Well your 60 foots are looking very nice now. Whatever changes you made must agree with your setup. Nice job!

Yeah, my short times were starting to suffer as the night went on (Air was getting cooler and so was the track).

Congrats Eric! I can't watch the vid so you will have to tell me. What part of the track is the car spinning? If you keep shaving time off the car like you have been you will me deep in the 9s for sure.

Actually, the only time that it was spinning last night was on the launch. It hooked in every gear. I need a better shifting transmission and some softer springs in the back.

I appreciate all the help you guys have given me.

My wife only lets me buy 10 gallons at a time or I would have a drum sitting in my garage

The shop mainly caters to circle track guys and those guys aren't racing this time of year so they stop ordering gas.

I actually found someone who has a 50 gallon drum but it's been sitting in his garage for almost 2 years now. Is that too old?

gas breaks down over time.
3 years is the point in which normal gas breaks down to the point you dont want to use it in your honda.

2 yr old race gas in your engine eric.
i wouldn't try it
