Im not an expert but what exactly are you doing. I just get my rpms up pretty high and try to get my foot off the clutch and on the brake as fast as possible. Then just play with the gas and dont over rev the engine.

Roll thru the water. turn on line lock. Put the care in 2nd gear. Put the throttle to the floor and release clutch. Stay on rev limiter for couple seconds, release linelock and roll out of burn out. If I go to the track today I will post you a burn out video tonight.

Most guys don't have a line lock installed but it does make things much easier on the rear brakes etc..

Here's a close up...

I heel-toe when i do my burn out as well. 2nd gear, revs up past 7000 with my heel on the brake, let go of the clutch, modulate brake and gas at same time with same foot, kinda tricky. Works well though.

Line lock, 5th gear, rev limiter, and slide your foot off the clutch. Like so.

I've been wondering if any street cars are doing 3rd gear burnouts. Get the heat in the tires a little quicker and less heat in the motor.

Here is a good burn out from Saturday races. I lost first round. Was a fast Mustang and a hell of a nice guy. Twin turbo chevy motor w/ auto in it. Atleast the burn out was good.

that was my wife!! Have to remember we are in AL and 14 is legal.

Nah, I did have my twin boys 7yrs old and my 20 month old girl there. My wife brought them just for a bit so the boys could check my tire psi and be my pit crew.. Good day with the family. I could have cared less about winning that day.
