good rpm to launch on street tires?

hey guys. Gauging what RPM's you guys launch at with street tires. On a sequential setup launching at 4 or 4.5k was great. Now on a non seq setup I just bog down. I do pulse to build boost...but don't have a bee*r yet or any rev limiter device.

my staggered 18inch rims don't help...those heavy p.o.s.' will be gone soon.

You'll probably need to figure this out on your own, too many variables. Lots of seat time and trial and error. I can tell you that you will probably have better results slipping the clutch rather than dropping it.

^what he said. have a To4z single on mine and I tried dropping it between 3 and 4.5 and the best et I have had is a 12.6 on street tires. I am a novice drag racer obviously, but i agree with zinx with the whole trial and error.
