'Gato Performance' 13B PP All-Motor FWD Mazda 323 runs a 7.0@97mph in the 1/8th mile with serious traction problems.

Are they going to allow him to run it in NHRA events? I've been waiting a long time to see that car run. You think he could have pick any uglier a car to run. Good luck to them and someone post a video when they get it all dialed in. I sure do miss being back home in Orlando.

It's all about keeping the engine and chassis as one brand; the other options would've been a Mazda Protege.

I have been waiting for this car to be completed for a long time. Good luck to gato and kilo on this project and i hope nhra allows him to run events.

Update, on a test run last sunday at Leakland, FL:

1.43 @ 60ft
6.62MPH @ 1/8 mile

I noticed he had a rear diff in the front of the car, how did he manage that and still able to keep it heading down the track?
