Pretty much all there and ready to go in and I was having trouble choosing wheels. Since I found that 9" already built for a crazy deal, I can't see not using it. And the rear lug pattern is not the same as the Welds I had planned to use. I was pretty set on a set of Bogarts for there exreme light weight, just was waiting for the right moment to drop that much cash...

I was trainging for my first upcoming fight and just finished a BJJ tournament (took 1st) when my shoulder really started bothering me much more than usual. Turns out I needed surgery. I wasnt able to really work on the car for a while. Especially getting under a car on my garage floor to cut, weld, grind, ect. So now I am 2 weeks post-op and can't wait to get back to work on the cars...

I'll updfate when its in with pictures...

Thanks. I got a lot of movement back already. Just not enough for cutting and welding just yet. This gives me some more planning time to make sure i get everything right.

Thread revival for more info!!!

Plenty must have been done in a year, How does it look?

I'm about to move my stock tubs in about 2 inches here soon, The 275x15s rub on the inside during street driving. I also need to find the differences in pickup points from the LE to SE. I read somewhere that it is a bit lower on the SE.

I am embarrassed to say it's not finished. I could wine about being laid off (jobs went to Mexico, seriously). I could wine about other things, but really it could of been done if I just didnt split my time between other cars... Typical rotary owner.

Anyways, I am typing with dirty hands right now because I just came in from the garage trying to finish it up. I just posted the only thing that is holding me up in a thread I started. ******* squat/anti-squat. I have taken a bunch of pics and I have been keeping notes. I plan to do a mini-write up about it. As soon as I decide on my squat/anti-squat value, it's a full days work worth of drilling, welding, and adjusting. That's it. It would be done already if I could just decide on the value...

I also went back to an 8.8. Not a mustang one, but an Explorer one. Thicker diameter and wall axle tubes than the mustang 8.8. They can be just as strong as the 9" but less rotating mass and lighter all together as well.

That's what I have as well, the tubes are massive. I was looking at that as well, I think I will take some time this weekend and accurately measure mine in an attempt to remedy that short upper link. My axle is a bit higher than stock due to the Granny's spring perch mounts but I have to get this piece figured out before my fuel injection setup is ready. Otherwise my power will just go up in smoke.

No worries, I don't judge, we all are rotarily challenged, lots of customer work at the house right now. Barely have time for my own.

Iam in the process of working with 2 fab shops to make a upper control arm mount for mustang upper control arms in the rx7. Its a pretty trick piece and will allow you to run any foxbody rear and upper control arms. All chromoly, 5 adjustment points for instant center and light weight. (8-10lbs). We have the prototype on the way in and should be installing it by end of next week. Should have been done this week but shipping is a mess from what fedex says and iam waiting an extra week .
