anyone else have this problem? This is the second rear end I do this to. When it spins out of place like this i cant drop the drive shaft because the bolts wont back out.

Yep, bolts should go back to front, then after it happens you can still remove the drive shaft

the bolts go from back to front now unlike whats shown in the picture. Problem Ive been having is that when this happens the driveshaft wont slide forward into the trans far enough to pull down the tail side of the driveshaft past these bolts. I had a rear that I removed this balancer/damper and i got an ugly vibration from the rear. Im not sure yet what I plan to do with the current one thats having this same problem. Any ideas? this **** is damn near impossible to spin back into place...

Really? Unbolt the PPF and you should have more than enough play to get the DS out

Use a flat head to break the DS loose, but without PPF pumpkin will droop enough to give you enough play pushing DS all the way into tranny.... Just enough room

Ive tried that before with no success but if you say it can be done then I will def try again in the future. It was close last time I took out the PPF, perhaps I just didn't give it enough elbow grease I Appreciate the advice Bacon!

Yea, I've done it like 15x this season, it's one of those it only works easy at the right pinion angle (not full sag)
I usally have a ratcheting strap hooked across the subframe to support the pumpkin while its all apart, allows you to make minor adjustments to pinion angle during the one way R/r
