Thinkin of using a set of FC spares up front with my et streets but need to find tires that will work with them. Kinda on a budget but want to be safe and will spend money(if i have to) to be safe. Thanks

This seems to be the only option for it. http://store.coker.com/500-525-16-fi...blackwall.html

Same as what the guys with FD spares are running, and proven to go well into the 10's or faster safely

^ those are working great for me on the FD, I drive to and from the track on them every time with out problem. Changing wheels at the track sucks.

No tubes in mine. They don't lose any air. I think i'm running 32 psi in them. I'm also curious what pressure others run?

I'll be using kenda tires , they are rated for 150mph and cost about $60.00 ea.

Yea i have heard people running the motorcycle tires but when i asked about the size they said they would not recommend using them? So i have been looking around and there are very few 16" skinnys.

Really, I've heard of people using 130/90/16 Kenda's with no issues.

I run the cokers also. Nothing wrong with them and they are proven much faster than 10's. These tires are what CCW uses on there drag packs (drag racing wheels front and back) for vette's and supra's. I want to say one of the vettes went 187mph on them.

It's not opinion as much as these are our only options. The only other 16" skinny I've seen is the M & H, but it's 27 or 28" tall and from someone's experience I remember them saying they don't fit up front on FC or FD.

I'd suggest the Cokers over the motorcycle tires any day.

Another option I've heard is running RX8 Spares up front instead which are 17's, then you have options for other skinnies. But they're hard to come by because they weren't standard equipment, and generally pretty pricey.

I just picked up rx8 wheels for mine, got one on craigslist for $40 shipped, and the other on one of those junkyard parts finders for $80 shipped. I'll be mounting the 26" M&H's tomorrow, I'll post some pics.
