ET street / ET Drag fitment on FC

Is there a different fit between ET streets (non radial) and ET drags?

The reason I ask is the 26x 10 x 15 ET drags are listed as having a much wider tread than the 26 x 10.5 x 15 et streets?

Also What size should I get for an FC to max out the available rear tire space?

And how to ET streets compare to ET drags?

Will the ET streets last longer (more runs).

Yes, if you have both ET Street and ET Drag tires of the same size, there is an ACTUAL difference in the sizes between them, the ET Drag will always be bigger in comparision to an ET Street. The ET Streets will last longer and have a slightly stiffer sidewall as well. For any IRS car I'd recommend going with the ET Streets instead of the ET Drag, hands down.

dimensions for the tires I am considering are:

26X10.50-15LT (sidewall width) 10.5 (tread width) 8.3 (Dia) 26.1

the above is basically the same size as an 8 x 26 et drag

and

26X11.50-15LT (sidewall width) 12.0 (tread width) 9.8 (Dia)26.3

the above is basically the same size as an 10 x 26 et drag

Rims will be matched to the tires chosen, for the smaller set 15 x 8 with maybe + 35 offset, larger set maybe 15 x 10 + 25 offset.

Obviously the smaller set are an easy fit, larger tire should fit right?

any experience from the rotary drag racing pro's is must appreciated.

Maybe not what you want but the 26x10.5x16 et street will fit the stock wheels and there a little wider.
