E&J throttlebody mod

Just wanted some feedback and to share what I did with you guys. I modified the throttle linkage on an E&J throttlebody so that it idles and works on the primary ports only for the first ~30% of throttle, but opens up to 100% on all 4 butterflies at full throttle. I'm putting this on my semi-PP 13B (someday...), and was looking for a way to keep the idle and light-load a bit more drivable without sacrificing any top-end. Any thoughts are appreciated!

Wonder how your mod is going to affect tps signal and injector pulse.

I'm running a Microtech, so it shouldn't have that much effect if any, the mapping is pretty crude to begin with.

Edit: I see what you're saying now. So long as the secondaries are set not to stage until the butterflies are open, it should be good to go. I've got some plans for that.

Nice mod.. it should help driveability a lot. Just so you know, the 4 barrel Throttle bodies on the intake kits I've been selling for 5 years now at RxParts.com - rxpartsonline@gmail.com all come with progressive throttle linkage that opens the primary butterflies 35% before the secondaries open. that's how cars like mine, Ernie's, Anthony's, Enzo's, and many others have such good driveability and throttle response while making big power.

I figured this wasn't a new thing to do, just hadn't seen it on here publicly before. Thanks Speed_NYC, congrats on the recent feature btw, your car looks amazing! Do you make that TB yourself? Looks great, and I've heard nothing but good things about your semi-pp manifolds.
