Do think these will clear??
Do think these will clear??
So I bought these last year. Took a gamble and had them mounted but they sit almost flush to fender. I could have the lip rolled and it would be very close then. Maybe run more camber and raise it a bit or sell them and try a 6.5 back space. Let me know what you think.
It looks as though they might barley clear. As you launch you naturally get camber. Maybe its just enough for everything to work. Have you tried jacking up on the rear control arm or putting the ebrake on and jacking up the bottom of the wheel to collapse the shock, putting the tire in the wheel well and see where it sits? Its deff very close for sure.
we can roll it enough to clear with a jack compressing that wheel. the risk in rolling come from rolling it flat. but a good heat gun will let the paint not flake off.
there is a sweet vid of a 2jz 240 that has like a credit car of clearance lol

Find a wheel shop that has a fender rolling tool like this http://www.eastwood.com/autobody/fen...FasERQodZ3wxWQ makes it nice and clean and won't damage your paint. You can use a bat and wedge it against the wheel but there's a good likely chance the paint will chip or crack. You can also take a ginder and slowly grind at the lip but your going to have to take your time and not create too much heat or else the paint will blister. I would go with finding a shop with a fender rolling tool as your best bet. Looks nice is you could fit them without any issues.
