Never thought I would see the day of Flaco selling his Rx8.. I know a few months ago he mentioned that it was forsale and someone in Australia was interested, but I didn't think Flaco was serious. Maybe the Ibarra Brothers will be taking out their 6 second AEM Civic to play, now that the Rx8 is gone.

Good luck to Nick, Mazsport & QSR... PR & US Import drag racing is a mess, but glad to see the Australia finally stepping it up.

DAMN, that sucks!

Even though I am not one of his top fans, it is sad to see such a racer/builder retire from the rotary world

I asked a simple, honest question but as usual, I get a stupid response. I bet if someone else asked the same question, they would have gotten an answer.

Lee, I'm not about to get into this with you...

Come on guys, haven't we already lost enough great forum members due to drama. Lets all forget about the drama and just enjoy the board and the friends that are on it.

Allen, this is the reason I stayed away from this forum.. Not only me, but several key members have refrain from coming on here because of the drama.
My mood on here has changed big time. I keep it strictly business and I try not to make the same mistakes, jokes or foul language that I was known for in the past. Jay and I don't see eye to eye on some things, but I got pass that and I've realized that I don't need to reply to everything he says or take everything to heart. The bottom line is we share the same passion and really don't make sense making a spectacle of one's self on a public forum, especially with the world looking on.

Sometimes I go places and people come up to me and ask "are you Rotaryboyz?" As soon as I respond, they immediately ask about Jay or Flaco and our "drama"
We think that people are not watching and taking notes, but they are.. To get where I want to go in this sport, it doesn't pay to be an A-hole or to be the guy that's involved in every drama. I guess you get wiser with age, but thank god I'm passed that nonsense.

Another thing. You don't need to be a race car driver or even own a car to be passionate about the sport, so there's no need to constantly talk or mention about my "cars"
Your goals & expectations in this sport may not be the same for me... What I want out of this sport is far bigger than any race car and everyday it's becoming a reality

To Jay, Abel & anyone else from the west coast that I've offended throughout the years, I'm sincerely sorry for all the heartache & drama. We may not have the same opinions, but that doesn't make you wrong or indifferent from me or my views.

Be good boys...

That is the exact same reason i am trying to be more conscious about what i write and the message i convey. The simple fact is that we are a small community and it's amazing how many people that we don't realize see the things we say and the way we carry ourselves. I had a conversation with Lee one evening and he brought this to my attention (and i thank him for that). I realize that we are not going to all get along but i myself am trying to be more professional and i commend you for doing the same . I want to be known as the crazy white boy from Texas rather than the guy who stirs all the **** on the 7club.

now i don't know you rotaryboyz but wow i don't know what to say about this one.i have read some of the drama here.nice to see the past can be the past.before i bought my first rotary drag car four years ago (and yes this is my first rotary powered car)i came from the VW air cooled community and these guys are a very tight bunch of people.i was/still am a VW fan.i still go out and watch local VW drag races.when some one has a major problem like a stolen car, broken parts or bad dealings with a shop and or owner of the shop they pull together and help a friend out with a collection of donations, spare parts or what ever this person in this situation is in need of. naming an individual by the name Shawn Moore here in so cal.i forgot the exact details but this guy from back east had sent two sets of cylinder heads and engine cases to Shawn Moore for some work to be done.this was about 2 years ago.some parts were returned with **** work done to them.now the owner of the parts is 2000 miles away what can he do?not much.some people let him use some spare parts so he could go drag racing.if you guys get a chance go check out cal-look.com in there forum then click on the drag racing forum.the VW community even has there own drag race sanctioning body PRA.the PRA has been going on for what i believe over 20 years.the VW drag race community is some thing to look up too.if the rotary community had a tight group of people that would share there experience, knowledge this could and would be a very big thing, those 2jz what ever six cylinder cars would be looking at our bumpers not us looking at there's.all the shops that are very tight lipped about there tune ups,set ups, gear ratios etc that's cool.what i believe is if some of this information was easier to get it would make the rotary community grow leaps and bounds.now i know the shop owners are saying FU but 80 % of the people here and in all the forums piston or rotary don't have the tooling or the skills to do the work you sell.i heard that the majority of the cars at early BOTI events were rotary powered cars.what happened to these people.they got turned off because of the simple fact i stated above.i would hope to see some info put out there but i know i am talking to a wall and this is as far as it gets.i have asked a million questions and i have got about 10 answers.with my crap wagon it has gone 6.39 in the 1/8 at 106 and 10.32 in the 1/4 at 126 and i drove it home, with no rotary tuning experience at all and this is what i have been able to do with no help.this has been in the last four months,it was running 12's four months ago.i don't have a problem with spending money hell there is 70k in this car.i would take this car to a tuner but you guys ether pass word protect it or don't explain anything.i am not going to give up on this car,it has big potential to be a 9.50's street car and it will be.

How are we supposed to take this appology when not only two posts above you posted a link of one of Abels runs and put up one of your stupid smart *** remarks as usual? Unbelievable!

How about posting some positive comments on Abel. You're the master video posting *****. How about posting some vids of his good runs and positive comments instead of the usual bashing? You talk all this talk about wanting to better the rotary drag racing sport but you consistantly put down one of the pioneers.

There's an old saying." If you dont have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all."

You don't have to accept my apology.. Once I know in my heart that I made my peace, then I could care less about what anyone else thinks :-)
I talked about me wanting to better the sport rotary drag racing? You seem to have a reading and comprehension problem because I don't recall talking about that. I suggest you quite while you can because I would hate for this thread to head downhill.

Seems like you're looking to find something out of nothing because I didn't mean anything bad with my comment. No sarcasm, no jokes, no fun... heck I didn't even insert an emotion

Let me make it clear for the kids on this forum.. Did Abel red lite or did he HAVE TIRE SHAKE??

So you ask "red light or the usual"? What is the "usual?"- You're going to sit there and say that you're night trying to start something by that comment?
And why did you post this video in the first place when it has abosultely nothing to do with the topic? Do you think we are all stupid or something?

Yeah, you said it nice and clear. All you want out of this sport is to make a quick buck.

Nope, not trying to start anything

And why did you post this video in the first place when it has abosultely nothing to do with the topic?
Actually it does.. It was the only video I could find of the Rx8 running at a national event, so I thought I would be a nice guy and post a video for everyone to see.
Do you think we are all stupid or something?
Nope, I don't think that everyone on the Rx7club is stupid.. just you

Yeah, you said it nice and clear. All you want out of this sport is to make a quick buck.
HAHAHAHHAHA, that's the funnies thing I've herd all week.. As always, you're clueless!

PS. this is my last calm reply on this thread.... Continue with your usual bullshit and you'll see the old me! I guarantee it!

Consider that a warning
