What RPM is it happening at? What conditions does it happen at? I have never heard of anyone having surge issues on a rotary because they tend to start making boost at higher RPMs.

it only does it in high gear about 6500 rpm on up.it makes full boost at about 4000 rpm.some one at the track this week end had said it could be were i am picking up my boost signal.i take the signal from the top intake manifold just above the lower intake at the 90 degree bend. i have not data logged my map sensor to see if the map signal shows this condition

How does your car drive on the street with your C4? You have a 5000 stall right?

compressor surge

Ernie t i have a buddy that has the next size a/r sitting around.i will install the housing this weekend and see what happens thanks for the input.Viking War Hammer, yes it has a c4 transmission.the converter stalls to 5000,i have a big transmission cooler with its own fan mounted under the car.the cooler is in between the frame rails at rear end.are you a Rollins band fan or a black flag fan or maybe his DC days.i have been listening to black flag since 1981.one of the coolest shows i have been to was about 8 years ago.the Rollins band backed up Henry.they played all black flag songs.also that night keith Morris jumped up on stage and sang some of there way back **** way to flippin cool.Dead Kennedy's in 87 with jello was the best.i still go to shows @ 40.
