What feels good is knowing what it would have run had i not grenaded it. I have never enjoyed blowing something up soooo much. I am done with the stock motor thing now, on to something.......different.

The motor may have lasted a little longer if i had a little less gear in the car. I bumped the rev limiter in 5th gear and thats what killed it.

With a 28inch tire and 4.88 final you were around 8100 to 8200 rpm at 138mph.
Where's the rev limiter set at?

Congrats again Allen. That is amazing on a stock port motor. How much boost where you running on that 9.5 pass. Like Crispeed said, it looks like you have the suspension dialed in.

The shift light was on for quite a while when she blew so it was between 8500 and 10000. Maybe it didn't hit the limiter. Oh well, one thing is for sure.....it's dead!!!!!!

I don't know yet, it lost compression on the rear rotor and blew the top off my oil overflow bottle. It sounds like it's still firing on the front but i can't tell for sure. I will post up pics of the carnage in a couple weeks.

And for the record the boost was fluctuating between 24-27 PSI. I never got a chance to set the start duty cycle for the closed loop boost control so it would open the wastegates too aggressively and the boost would dip down to 24 and then climb back to 27.
