BOTI finals in SoCal NOv. 21

Ok gentlemen, dont' say I never told you. November 21 at Fontana is the Battle of the Import finals. Should have cooler weather and a good turnout. Lets make a good rotary turnout ok? Dust off those trailer queens and get out there!

Joe, Rene, Eric, Steve, Albert, Chris, Robert, Teddy, Manny, and all the other SoCal racers that I missed, lets get out there. If your car is not ready then come out and support those that are. I'll bring the BBQ and food and drinks. Lets make this a SoCal rotary get together and hang out. Who's in?

Jay I am trying to make it. I have not touched my project in a very long time. Hopefully this post will get some of the local guys pumped up to dust off their race cars and come out for the day.

Alright Eric, cool. I am pretty much set to go. If you want anything special to eat or drink bring it. I think I'm going to bring hot dogs and hamburgers or make some carne asada. I will have a grill ready to go.

eric- there was a lot of people and the track kept getting oiled down, i was only able to make one pass at bakersfield and it went into all gears. the clutch was not adjusted right though and it started to take off at the lights when i reved up so it was not a good pass, it did not take off good 11.00 @ 120 with a bad 60ft

Cool Steve, hope to see you there and that you get your clutch dialed in.

So I take it they wouldn't let you run? That old wrinkly biotch at the front would not give me my money back even though I was only there for 5 minutes. Oh well, it was real windy and dusty anyway. Where did you dyno your car? At least nothing broke right?

So I looked at the weather forecast for this weekend and as luck would have it, it looks like it is going to rain. I think there is over a 40% chance.
The only thing we can hope for is that the weather guy is wrong like he/she usually is here in SoCAl.

Dammit Chris, I told you to take it easy.

Well, sorry to hear that. There is a 30% chance of rain, so maybe you wont' miss much. Please pray to the rain gods to keep the rain away for me though.
Are you coming to watch?

damn dude you can only put coolant into the engine if you flex the engine so much and pop out the freeze plugs in the front iron....or you might have a slight crack on the iron.

plug it with these.....
