Battery cut off switch

I'm having my cage installed next week, figured while I'm in there I would have a battery cut-off switch mounted as well. My question is, I'm using a Microtech ecm, should I wire the Microtech so the battery switch turns it off as well? Or should it be fused, straight to the battery and have constant 12v? Just not too sure about it losing memory once it's tuned, if the switch was turned off.

Should hold the tune in memory without DC power

Cool thanks just wasn't sure. Did you get an axle put back in your car?
