I would like to go but I think I broke an apex seal the other night at irwindale before I got kicked out. I need to tear the motor apart and it wont be ready probably.

Get her done. What's up Steve? I guess we both broke down the other week. I broke my axle. Sorry to hear about your engine. Hopefully there isn't too much damage. What apex seals are you using?

Well, at least you won't have any internal damage by using the carbon seals. You can do a quick tear down and repl. the one damaged carbon seal and be ready for the races coming up at Barona. If you need any help, just give me a holla, I'll help out.

Thanks for coming out Ultimatejay.Barona is a nice track. I didn't take my cars out this time.We went out testing my buddies Rx7.He had some traction problems at first but sorted out everything with some adjustmenst to the suspension. The only thing is the driver has to get used to the power.

It was a good day for testing. We also went to Irwindale speedway on Sunday for some more testing. We got to improve the 60ft mark but had some minor issues with the tranny, needed to adjust the shifter rods on the G-Force tranny.

Yeah, it was nice hanging with you guys. Hopefully next time I can bring my boat anchor out and make some runs too. I wanted to stay longer but the wife and kid were really tired. Man it was a biotch getting back to the 15fwy huh? Did you guys sort out the rich mixture problem?

yup,it wasn't rich,it was the driver.
He kept on getting into the 2 step to early causing the plugs to turn off and then get rich. All it was just getting the engine to rev proper for both burnout and stage.Joe put a lightened flywheel so it revs fairly quick.Totaly different from a heavy wheel.

By the way we will head out to irwindale this week.More testing to come.

That's a great 60ft Joe, congrats. I'm sure you can get it lower too. YOu know what's sad is that your 60 ft is almost a full second better than mine. LOL

let's see on the next outing, if we corrected the 2nd and 3rd gear rod problem. the car is responding to any adjustment we make, and feels like we're making progress.
i need to do my part driving and hope for a good number .

Ha ha,thats a good one.GRS- JRS? We are making our own thing huh.

Its true ,there are only 3 of us who are brave to go to the track and try our cars out, with some dumb *** V8 guys putting us down at the same time. But we won't let
our rotaries down and pistons, thats for santos Toyota.
